Course Description This program is intended to serve as a guide for attorneys handling decedent estates. The goals of the program are to walk through early steps to take when a client dies, provide an overview of probate, assist attorneys in the determination of when a Federal and or Illinois estate tax return is required to be filed, QTIP elections and other important information for these returns and dealing with dueling beneficiaries, assets outside Illinois and closely held businesses.
